Tip #1: Lower the stress in your life!

Tip #2: Avoid electronics and caffeinated beverages
You need to relax before bedtime, so stay away from noises, stimulants, caffeinated beverages, and electronics. Avoid screen time at least two hours before sleep!

Tip #3: Don’t sleep immediately after eating a meal
It is not advisable to go to bed immediately after eating a meal. Your body can’t rest and relax while it is busy with digestion. Eat your last meal two to three hours before bedtime!

Tip #4: Eat the right foods
Healthy food and drinks play a role in how well you sleep. Therefore it is important to watch your diet and drinks. Change or modify them if they are causing you to have difficulty sleeping.

Tip #5: Start a sleep ritual
To have a restful sleep, you need to be in harmony with the circadian rhythm of the universe. Wake up at sunrise and not later than 6.00 to 7.00 AM and go to bed early at night and not later than 10.00 to 11.00 PM. These strategies are well-known in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.
